Bob Ellis, Chairman

Bob is an experienced chairman and advisor of businesses going through a period of change. He has worked with both plc's and private equity firms and has led a number of companies in the UK and USA. Most recently he was Executive Chairman of a billion dollar automotive parts company. Bob assisted the management in the implementation of operational and financial strategies that generated significant value for stakeholders. Prior to this Bob has been responsible for the start-up and development of businesses in communications, broadcasting and electronics.

Bob is a graduate of the Corporate Finance Management program at Harvard Business School, he holds a B.Ed honours from London University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

John Helas, Chief Executive Officer

John Helas joined the company in February 2006 as General Manager of Alan Dick UK and Ireland and has subsequently been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the new AlanDick Europe business. Prior to joining AlanDick John was the Operations Director of Transaction Network Services, Business Development Director of Jacobs Engineering, and Director of Technical facilities and Offices at MCI (now Verizon). John has also worked in various Engineering and Project Management capacities for Ford and GM.

Rob Fisher, Chief Executive Officer

Rob Fisher was most recently CEO of Fast Search & Transfer. At the time of joining FAST, Rob was CEO of Cable & Wireless' European businesses and was previously managing director, operations, of Cable & Wireless Communications Plc. He also held a variety of senior management positions throughout his eight years with Cable & Wireless, including sales, marketing, product management, strategy and operations.                    Prior to Cable & Wireless, Fisher worked for Bain & Co management consultants.  

Rob holds a degree in Engineering Science and a doctorate from Oxford University.

Jason Pearce, Chief Financial Officer

Jason Pearce is a Chartered Accountant, formerly with Pricewaterhousecoopers. 

Jason joined the AlanDick Group as International Financial Controller in 1999, and was appointed as Group Commercial Manager in 2002.  He became Regional Operations Director in 2006, and more recently was appointed CFO of the new AlanDick Europe business.

Bill Carruthers, Chief Operations Officer

Bill joined AlanDick in 2000 as International Operations Director, his previous career having spent 30 years in the power industry in a construction, commissioning and project management environment.  Key projects include Sizewell “B” and Heysham 2.  Bill went on to run British Energy’s Program Management Office for Nuclear retrofit work and was engaged in International Consultancy to the Energy Industry.  He brought operational and commercial expertise initially into AlanDick at a time of exceedingly rapid expansion. 

Bill is a chartered mechanical engineer (FIMechE) and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.

Rob Fisher, non executive

Christian Winning,  Chief Financial Officer

Christian Winning joined AlanDick as Regional Finance Director EMEA in 2006 and has extensive experience gained in industry and accountancy practice.

He had most recently held a number of senior finance roles at AT&T between 2002 and 2006, where he successfully implemented a number of new trading initiatives.  Christian was previously General Manager of A-DEC Dental UK Ltd, which he joined in 1997. He also held a number of senior management positions throughout his 9 years with KPMG. It was whilst at KPMG that Christian qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1993.

John Biles,  Non Executive Director

John Biles has extensive experience of the engineering sector having been Finance Director of FKI PLC from 1998-2004.       He was previously Group Financial Director of Chubb Security PLC (1991-1997) and also fulfilled a range of senior finance positions at Racal Electronics, which he joined in 1981. John qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse,
and then spent five years with Thorn EMI Plc (1976-1981).

He is currently a Non Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Charter Plc, Armor Group International Plc, Bodycote International Plc, Hermes Pensions Management Ltd, Viridian Group Plc (which was listed until December 2006) and another private company. He was formerly a Non Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Chapelthorpe Plc and Amey Plc.
