Over the years a wide range of UHF antennas have been developed.
They fall into three basic types: Slot antennas, Halfwave dipoles and Panel antennas.
The essential difference is that Slot antennas are single channel devices, whereas the Dipole and Panel antennas are much more broadband.

The Panel antennas are the best option when designing customised arrays to arrays to meet special interference limited templates prevalent in Digital broadcasting.
