The formal adoption of the DVB-H Standard by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) in 2004 has led to increased activity in providing video streaming to handsets. This standardisation of DVB-H further promotes the convergence of Cellular Mobile and Broadcasting Technologies.

The DVB-H standard is a subset of the Digital Terrestrial Standard DVB-T which has been adopted worldwide by a majority of countries Worldwide. This convergence highlights the unique position AlanDick has in offering products and service solutions to the market, promoting the synergy between Cellular and Broadcasting activities.

AlanDick has been involved in trial solutions for the rollout of DVB-H networks, based on broadcast antenna technology but deployed in a cellular style network.
