Bob Ellis, Chairman

Bob is an experienced chairman and advisor of businesses going through a period of change. He has worked with both plc's and private equity firms and has led a number of companies in the UK and USA. Most recently he was Executive Chairman of a billion dollar automotive parts company. Bob assisted the management in the implementation of operational and financial strategies that generated significant value for stakeholders. Prior to this Bob has been responsible for the start-up and development of businesses in communications, broadcasting and electronics.

Bob is a graduate of the Corporate Finance Management program at Harvard Business School, he holds a B.Ed honours from London University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

John Helas, Chief Executive Officer

John Helas joined the company in February 2006 as General Manager of Alan Dick UK and Ireland and has subsequently been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the new AlanDick Europe business. Prior to joining AlanDick John was the Operations Director of Transaction Network Services, Business Development Director of Jacobs Engineering, and Director of Technical facilities and Offices at MCI (now Verizon). John has also worked in various Engineering and Project Management capacities for Ford and GM.

John is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer. 

Jason Pearce, Chief Financial Officer

Jason Pearce is a Chartered Accountant, formerly with Pricewaterhousecoopers. 

Jason joined the AlanDick Group as International Financial Controller in 1999, and was appointed as Group Commercial Manager in 2002.  He became Regional Operations Director in 2006, and more recently was appointed CFO of the new AlanDick Europe business.

John Riley, Head of Transport Division

John Riley joined AlanDick in 2001 and until October 2007 was responsible for the UK Supply Chain. John has worked in Telecoms for more than 20 years, working across the globe within diverse projects most notable was his involvement with Ericsson’s rollout of the first GSM network in Germany, which saw the company grow from 35 employees to 1300 in 3 years. Over the past 10 years he has managed several key outsourcing/business transfer projects for Ericsson and AlanDick.

John’s role now is to oversee and develop the companies Transport Communications Division, developing the UK rail opportunities and using this model to develop and expand the Customer base.

David Williams, Sales & Business Development Manager

David Williams joined AlanDick in July 2005 as Group Sales & Marketing Manager having spent over 25 years in telecommunications. Before joining AlanDick David was a founding Director of Motorola's GSM Systems in 1990 which grew to over $2bn in sales and before that General Manager of a small electronics business. His international sales and business development experience is considerable having built sales in over 14 markets worldwide and especially China. He is a Chartered Marketer and FCIM and heads up Sales, Marketing and Business Development for ADE

Carl Moyden, Head of Broadcast

Carl Moyden is an experienced senior manager with more than 20 years of experience in the military engineering and telecoms sectors, delivering large, high value projects/programmes across a broad range of technologies including Broadcast (TV and Radio), Mobile Telecoms (Core and Access network), IP, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max and other new technologies.  Prior to joining AlanDick, Carl held two senior level appointments with full management and financial accountability.

Carl has as First Class degree in Engineering from South Bank University, London.

Davina Reilly, Quality, Safety & Environmental Manager

Davina Reilly has worked with AlanDick since 2005, becoming the ADE QSE Manager in 2006. Davina previously worked in various high risk industry sectors such as Petro-Chemical and Nuclear. Her role is to oversee the management of continuous improvement and prevention of risk within all ADE operations.

Davina is a member of the Chartered Quality Institute, a certified Lead Auditor and is studying for a Masters Degree in Quality Excellence.

Doug Knott,  Human Resources Manager

Doug Knott joined AlanDick in February 2007 working for the UK business. He has extensive experience of senior HR roles within the general engineering and aerospace sectors. A graduate of Nottingham University, he has been involved in major business restructuring and change management programmes as well as large scale recruitment to support business expansion.

Vinod Gill, Head of Commercial & Procurement

Vinod Gill is a law graduate from Nottingham Trent University.

He joined AlanDick UK Limited as Senior Commercial Manager in May 2007, and was more recently appointed Head of Commercial & Procurement of the new AlanDick Europe business.

He has worked for AT&T, 3Com and Emerson Process Management where he held senior commercial roles and thus brings with him extensive commercial and legal experience.
