Punta Cana Airport Radome Project – Dominican Republic

When a multinational radar supplier required a Radome to protect an air traffic control radar at Punta Cana Airport, it came to AlanDick.

AlanDick’s Radome design offers vital weather protection, as well as being visually attractive - essential when installed close to the entrance of a resort hotel.

Our team was set an additional challenge during the installation period – high winds occurred
when a hurricane passed through. Our solution was
to assemble the whole Radome on the ground, and then lift it into place by crane onto an existing concrete building.
