Vietnam HTV  - 250m Transmitting Antenna Tower Turnkey Project

Vietnam's HoChiMinh City Television's (HTV) 250m tall Antenna Tower has become a familiar feature on the city's skyline - it is actually the tallest self supporting tower in the whole of South East Asia.

AlanDick supplied the tower as part of a year-long turnkey project for HTV during 2005. The project brief was to design, fabricate, install and commission the following:

• A 250m high, 3 legged triangular self supporting tower.
• Tower foundations, lighting, lightening protection and grounding systems.
• UHF & VHF antenna systems with coaxial cables.
• VHF transmitter channel combiner.
• Tower elevator.
• Provision of training and technical transfer.

 This high-profile project culminated in a grand contract signing ceremony, which was attended by local dignitaries in November 2005.
