Supply and Installation of a Mast Antenna at Menara Kuala Lumpur.

AlanDick at the height and pride of Malaysia

AlanDick began its involvement in Malaysia's broadcast networks in style - when it was involved in the creation of the prestigious Menara Kuala Lumpur or KL Tower.

The KL Tower is renowned as the telecommunications tower for Malaysia as well as being one of Kuala Lumpur's prime tourist attractions. It is the fifth tallest telecommunications tower in the world as well as the tallest structure in South East Asia.

It was built to enhance the quality of telecommunication services and the clarity of broadcasting in Malaysia as well as being a major retail and entertainment centre.  Its architecture reflects the country's Islamic heritage - and  it has become an avenue for the Islamic falak observatory to look for the crescent moon to mark the beginning of the Muslim month and Islamic holy days.

Towers & Masts

Construction of the tower took five years and it was after former Prime Minister, YAB Dato Seri Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad performed the "topping-out" ceremony, that AlanDick's antenna mast was installed, thus marking the final height of the tower -  421 meters above the ground. It now crowns the tower and is specially utilised for telecommunications and broadcasting transmissions.

AlanDick's antenna mast is operational at the height of the pride of Malaysia  - and this has been the rationale  for AlanDick's presence in the country ever since.

KL Tower is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Telekom Malaysia Group.
