Asia Pacific - Cellular

AlanDick has three decades of communication infrastructure experience; a track record stretching right back to before the first analogue networks were launched in the UK and Western Europe in the 1980s. This experience is well recognised within the markets of the Asia Pacific region.

Asia’s cellular networks are rising to the twin challenges of rising numbers of users and expanding their cellular coverage across new areas of the continent. As technologies evolve, the need to manage network infrastructure has become a critical challenge to all mobile operators; to optimise their investment.  And AlanDick is supporting them, every step of the way.

AlanDick’s key advantage is the ability to offer end-to-end infrastructure solutions.  We provide a combination of services - from RF planning, site acquisition, project management, site construction, site commissioning and network maintenance services - as well as all of the underlying products used to construct the infrastructure.

Our Radio Network Engineering team has the skills and experience to offer complete RF services, which enable operators to improve their network performance.  Our services include performing end-to-end measurement and assessment, fulfilling the activities such as re-planning, improving hardware use, recommending process improvements to reduce dropped call rates and increasing the accuracy of planning and propagation tools.  Therefore, as an ongoing programme in network expansion and overlay, this becomes a key activity adding value for the operator and increasing their revenue and customer loyalty.

We are committed to use best in class tools  such as Optimi, TEMS, Qvoice, Agilent and Nemo.  We also have our own quality measurement tool - Sensustech , which offers customers the means to monitor and analyse the quality of their networks in a practical and cost effective way.

Indoor coverage is something the cellular networks are constantly seeking to improve, as a good indoor signal means that more calls can be successfully made and received, so boosting revenues for the cellular network concerned through better connectivity. AlanDick offers clients in the Asia Pacific a wide range of In-Building components and have provided solutions for a number of high-profile projects, one such example is the multi-carrier cellular transmission system, which we installed at the Malaysian King's Palace.

Our proprietary design capabilities allow us to offer customers infrastructure propositions that are tailored to their specific needs and the requirements of the operating environment such as products that "blend in" with the local environment so their visible impact is reduced. Such as our range of cellular lampposts and trees, which have been successfully installed in both China and Singapore.

We also have the expertise to provide comprehensive after sales and maintenance services for communications equipment used in cellular networks.

Our ability to make use of local fabrication and resources enables a rapid response to any requirement; in addition our global experience ensures that we provide our customers in the Asia Pacific with the highest level of satisfaction.
