Jeju
is an island formed entirely from volcanic
eruptions situated about 40km off the south
coast of the Korean Peninsula and is the
honeymoon capital of Korea. Its frequent
rains and temperate climate make it similar
to the Hawaiian islands of
the United States.
AlanDick
recently supplied Raytheon with an 11.8m
radome, which provides
Korea’s ATC service with full weather
protection for its
radar system on the island.
The radar supplier provided the details of
the project requirement along with local
contact details and tower interface –
AlanDick’s specialist team took care of
everything else.

This
project is a good example of the type of
contract which AlanDick usually supplies.
When contracted to, we take responsibility
for all aspects of supply until the customer
is able to apply power to their equipment –
this includes interfaces, local labour
support and assisting clients with their own
equipment to install.
Installation of the radome was completed in
little over a week and illustrates AlanDick's unique ability
to manage projects end-to-end, on time and
with a high level of quality.
