AlanDick proves its ability to
rapidly deploy its resources - with first class quality.
To achieve the maximum return on their
investment, operators are more eager than
ever to ensure their networks are available
to users 24x7, both outdoors and indoors.
This was highlighted when AlanDick was
awarded a contract by a major UK network
operator to provide
In-Building solutions
for premises across the UK belonging to a
major corporate customer. The project - one of the
largest of its kind ever carried out in the
UK - involved very demanding timescales.
AlanDick carried out surveys on around 20
buildings per month to achieve a better
understanding of the level of cellular
coverage available in each building and to
determine whether the available service
level was satisfactory or required
improvement.
From the results of each survey the client
then decided whether or not AlanDick should
produce a full indoor antenna system design
for that particular site. This was done for
around one in three sites.
Using best in class tools, such as TEMS
and site planning software such as IBWAVE, AlanDick's team
produced In-Building design packages
including the drafting, site designing and
drawing of cable routes, equipment locations
and antenna positions.
