AlanDick
has a range of Rapid Deployment and Relocateable Solutions, such as
Mobile Communication Units, Quicksite
and Modular Sites.
Mobile Communication Units
AlanDick’s Mobile Communication Units (MCU’s) offer a complete, self
contained mobile solution for Operators. The MCU can be rapidly deployed
with minimum personnel to give coverage where not normally available or
to boost capacity temporarily.
The MCU is available in both a trailer and vehicle mounted version, and
can be purchased or rented from AlanDick.
The MCU is the ideal solution for the following situations:
- Heavy mobile traffic during special events
- In fill during failure of permanent cell sites
- Temporary solution while permanent site under construction
- Trial network to test viability
Quicksite
The AlanDick Quicksite system is an advanced solution for speed of
deployment and is suitable for temporary base station installations, but
with advantages applicable to permanent deployment.
Designed to operate for the same lifetime as a standard base station, it
also offers the opportunity to relocate the station by re-using
virtually all of the materials, and without heavy extra expenditure.

Without Concreting – this avoids customer foundation stage approval, and
ensures better ‘Time to Market’ thus improving revenue streams.
Quicksite is ideal for situations where, for whatever reason, a base
station may need to be redeployed at some stage in the future, or where
foundations are costly and time-consuming, or where a temporary cell
site cannot meet the site’s needs on a longer term basis.
Modular Sites - Relocation
A complete modular base station enabling a 2 day in-out procedure for
the entire installation process is available using the Modular Site. The
solution uses Helical Anchors to secure a grillage base, on which the
equipment sits. Over 95 per cent of the Modular Site installation can be
recovered for use at a second site.
Cost effective through ease of installation and maintenance it is an
excellent investment for the sites where future use is not certain. It
wins out against the permanent
station being relocated, and against extending the life of a temporary
station.
Advantageous when optimum site location is needed to verify Network
planners models, and meet with Local Authority planning issues.
